WHY
|
|
The association of the Hearts of Light in Rachaya does not have the capacity to provide disabled children access to its academic and social facilities. Engaging youth with special needs in civic life and enabling them to be productive members of society are among the objectives of Hearts of Light. Hence, support for the organisation will improve its capacity to attend to the needs of students some of whom face important transportation difficulties to the institution or have special learning needs.

HOW
|
|
The project will provide physiotherapy equipment for the disabled students. Furthermore, it will procure a minivan to transport the disadvantaged students to the institution and back to their homes, allowing them to be exposed to social and recreational opportunities with individuals their age.
