HEALTHY WATER IN HERMEL!
Before:

The conditions of the water network forced residents to spend one-fourth of their income on purchasing water for daily use. Residents earning US$300 – 400 per month spent US$100 on buying water alone. There was a high risk of contamination and collapse of this vital source.

After:

The restoration of the drinking water network now allows residents of upper lands of Hermel to receive clear and healthy water. Moreover, they can now invest a significant portion of their income in alternative and beneficial ways. This network is around 25 Km long and is the main source of potable water in Hermel.

You can also support the restoration of a polluted river in Tannourine. Go to our Projects page to discover more opportunities to promote a Green Lebanon!
